2012-2013 NBBA SNOOKER SCHEDULE
Ranking Tournaments
Ranking #1 - October 14th, 2012
Ranking #2 - November 11th, 2012
Ranking #3 - December 9th, 2012
Ranking #4 - January 13th, 2013
Ranking #5 - March 17th, 2013
Ranking #6 - April 7th, 2013
Provincial Championships - April 21st, 2012
Conditions:
- All events to be held at Rothesay Ave. Billiards , registration is by 11am , play to follow as soon as possible afterwards.
- For ranking tournaments play format is single knockout / best of 5 with the finals best of 7.
- For the provincial championships play format is single knockout / best of 7 with the finals best of 9.
- Ranking tournament entry fees will be $15 for a starter , $20 for intermediate and $30 for advanced players.
- Provincial championship entry fees will be $25 for a starter , $35 for intermediate and $45 for advanced players.
- Any player who has not played in a ranking tournament in the last 2 years will pay starter fee for their 1st tournament as a welcome back , then be placed in the appropriate category at the NBBA directors discretion.
- Any player who has never played in a ranking tournament in the past will automatically be classified as a starter until they accumulate 3 or more ranking points in a single event , then be placed in the appropriate category at the NBBA directors discretion.
- Intermediate and advanced player classifications will be determined by the NBBA directors.
- Money from entry fees at each tournament will be divided as follows - $5 from each player for green fees , 50% of remainder paid in prizes ( payouts to be determined by the number of participants ) the rest goes to NBBA for snooker spots at Canadian championships.
- Number of spots to be given away to the Canadian championships from the results of the ranking events and provincial championships will be dependant on the amount of participation and decided by the NBBA directors ( if there is enough participation there will be 2 spots , 1 from the ranking events and 1 from the provincial championships and if participation is lacking there will be 1 spot from combined points at the ranking events and provincial championships )
- Dress code for provincial championships only , dress shoes , dress pants and collared shirt
